Sorry SH for bringing up bad memories for you. We have had one or two other Magees since then.

Magee's performance is always framed in the club's decision to ax Jack Ensor the year before of course, but in light of the present topic, remembering some of Swans' worst coaching selections might make for sobering reading.

Compared to your 2001 & 2002 seasons 42, Willo was "Cam Shepherdesque" like mate in 98/99.....4 wins out of 36 games in 2001/02 surely who ever was coach back then wins the gong of SD worst coach surely?

Perhaps Willo never forgave SD for that 9 goal 1st quarter in the 84 GF and got back some karma by sinking you guys to 7th and 6th in his black n white coaching tenure

That would have been 4 time SDFC Premiership winning coach John Todd Freeze...if you remember we almost went belly up in late 2000 so Toddy didnt have a lot of experience to coach but he did blood and bring through a number of young blokes during those tough years including the just recently retired Tallan Ames & 2010 Premiership Captain Josh Roberts amongst others!

Yep, bad years, and not even the great John Todd could make a difference.

Magee, and Wilson, followed closely by Lewis and Harding as my worst
