Disappointed to lose by four points but not disappointed in the huge effort displayed by the boys. To get in front and with a minute thirty left on the clock East Perth rebounded the ball after young Lynchy dropped a real hard chest mark and Lamb kicked a goal with a flour bag, that's footy. You can bag players for missing easy shots at goal but Lourey kicked a couple of rippers in the last quarter. Papertalk in his first game didn't show his true potential, I would still pick him again. Potente and Meadows had niggling injuries and didn't play. Alexander played in the reserves, he took some good grabs. Jones / Kerr are back training. Had a chat with Manning, should be right in a couple of weeks, don't know about Teddy. It was a good game especially in the last quarter and its a bloody shame that channel seven didn't televise it.

Was a spirited comeback from a true WAFL club, I consider this a win because witnout alignment The Roygles wouldnt have got close..same as last week for us on Sun v Peelmantle, it keeps on highlighting the farce the alignments are. In my book the top 3 atm is WP, Clare and SD discount the other frauds in the top 5
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

don't tell me the fixtures aren't a set up. lets play the game on sunday so the eagles can get their players back from east in time to play for east eagles. bloody disguising.

I brought this same point up last week mate when FART brought all 3 emergencies (Z.Clarke, Dawson & Weller) back in from travelling to Melbourne the day before against us. So yet again we see the weak as water WAFC pandering to the 2 AFL flogs by playing their respective Reserves sides games on a Sunday now when they play Interstate on a Saturday because having 16 full time professional AFL athletes available to play for free just isn't enough of an advantage it would seem to those flogs Walton, McHenry & co  ..this comp is seriously farked!

is Dean Turner still asking for more recruiting concessions ?

the alignment has certainly hindered them so far !
no wonder CUB flicked him.

Very impressed with Adams played a blinder. The WCE travelling emergency did not travel back to play WAFL. As far as I know only Bennell travelled to Melbourne. But a conspiracy theory is always a conversation starter. I note the Eagles are keen to bolster EP at the moment so we play finals.

The fact of the matter is that Subi, WP and either Claremont or Swans are forced to deal with the 2 AFL teams being in the finals this year, so I'd like to hear from the Joondy boys what they consider were the strengths and otherwise of how WART played and how they think it can be countered, coz as distasteful as it may be, you/we will be playing them in September.

well there is no doubt the fixture and the one the week before is set for the AFL aligned clubs benefit.
part-time WP footballers now have a 6 day break into the next game like Swans had a against Claremont.

Peel amazingly had the bye after last week and Swans have the bye in the 1st and last game of the year which makes it 2 years in a row they have the bye in the last round.

maybe Dean Turner can write up our submission for recruiting concessions, he seems like bright spark.

Subi must be shaking in their boots SS, how on earth can we beat EP. I believe WP had several outs so I'm sure they feel well placed to turn the tables. Claremont played the most dominate game against us this year perhaps copy their style.
