LB only your mob and Joondy have beaten us this year and EP thrashed us, they are now playing good consistent footy stringing some wins together and looking like doing what everyone expected them to do and that is have a real say come September.
make no mistake, any win over Joondy is a good win I rate them as the hardest running team with the fastest ball movement in the comp so if we have dry September and they get some of their boys back on the paddock in time, they will be a force.

Once again the WP game was hampered by inconsistent delivery and a stop start regime. But in answer to the above question I also saw in the moments we took it to the Eagles Reserves they were unable to counter fast delivery into our forward line and quick disposal

I could be wrong but it appears that East Perth are relying on Eagles set plays and rehearsals and if the opposition moves sideways or God forbid, backwards then they are able to set up their counters.

I know others are complimentary to the WP game yesterday and I accept the opinions, but I am of another opinion
I believe we again played three qtrs of average footy with a few of our players holding the line. Our forward pressure and pressure in general was almost non existent except for the last qtr and look what it did to the E reserves!!!!

But in saying that it also places a less than glowing statement to EP's game. Even with the Eagles heavyweights inclusions they did not escape WP to a degree we were out of the game......

If we could muster a 4 qtr effort we apply in most of our last qtr fight backs we will take the gold ring at years end.

Oh ..... Can we please stop kicking out to the SAME BLOODY boundary line every f......g week from an opposition point. It's easy to say that EVERY TEAM in the WAFL has worked this out and stacks the area. It's like watching a frigging tennis match - back / forward - back / forward - back / forward until the usual out come is a frustrating opposition goal!!!!

Just a thought :side:

We gave up a lot of space through the middle for 3 qtrs and when we have to play with anything goes attitude, we open opposition sides up. Again we were 5 goals down and got in front in 12 minutes of footy in the last qtr. 1 x umpire bash, what was the numpty thinking when Lamb full on pushed Morrow in the back in the 3rd qtr ??? He was standing right at the contest and was a one on one and he paid the mark and goal from 20m

Larry the conspiracy theory is to get peel in the finals not us .The last sunday game we played against peel was a huge disadvantage to us.The dockers were having a bye the next week so Peel were able to play all three emergencies. The eagles whitheld their emergencies as they had a game and short break the next week.Needless to say we lost that one.Conspiracy is in the eye of the beholder.

Falcon contrary to the West Australian, I was told yesterday only Bennell travelled. It is not normal practice to take three emergencies away.

Fremantle did last week and all Clarke, Dawson & Weller flew back and played for FART the next day vs SD ..how convenient for them ...and then Swans have to come up only 6 days later vs Claremont at the cow paddock parading as a football ground!

Bullchit LB, both Sam Butler and Jackson Nelson both traveled to the Gold Coast and played yesterday.....Conspiracy my a$$.

Jamie Bennell was the only emergency to travel to Queensland, that was why he was the only emergency that didn't play yesterday.

Butler and Nelson were in a photo posted on social media on Friday night playing FIFA at another players house in Perth.

West Perth can count themselves unlucky. Having over 50 less ball disposals than the opposition. And only losing by the four points.
Disposals/scoring shot being a credible 14.7.
37 Disposals per goal and a pace rate of 20%.
