great work WAFC, any chance Bazza you can lend your hand to the WAFC - you would have had this sorted out in March by the sounds as you have all the answers yet i still havnt read of any resolution ?.

Bazza posts here he seems to privy to the whole situation, methinks he is privy to sweet FA

I cannot believe how Bazza sticks up for wank7 and the dildo;s at the WAFC? the only thing WP are guilty of is trying get a decent sponsorship deal in the order of 300K, nothing else.

Me personally don't give a shit if they never telecast another WP game as I go to every game anyway and it does not effect me at all, in fact if you think about it, not telecasting the GF would bring more people through the gates you would think?? What value is there in telecasting the game anyway? not much considering the amount of sport on TV these days.

the only one is ch9 and its in a newspaper of their direct competition.
do more people watch the wafl on tv or read the sports section of the West ?

name another WAFL club that has come out in support of Raponi WPFC or the Ch 9 deal in the last 48 hours?

Whats the last 48 hrs got to do with anything? Peter Hodyl for one personally rang Brett after we played them up at Joondy a few weeks back telling him SD were firmly behind WP..Now isn't that enough for you? Your like a copper trying to fit someone up because he knows he is wrong! Maybe you have some experience in that..

How dumb are you moron

that was weeks ago, the entire thing has moved on since then, the entire facts are now evident to the other clubs,,,and what is Swans doing and saying now

after the last briefing it was publicly announced that ALL clubs stood with the WAFC on this issue...that is why the last 48 hours is imprtant becuase not a single club has come out and and denied it.

NOT A SINGLE ONE including SDFC...what part of that dont you get.

Bazza, Bazza, Bazza,

I could be your Nemesis or a fellow WAFL friend, I will choose the latter to save you from more embarrassment. WP have offered up solutions/scenarios from day dot with the WAFC and CH7 knocking them back, this hasn't been something submitted in the last day or so.

I can categorically tell you that a solution is very close as the season has grown older and along with that WP are a sniff to play in a GF and have secured a Prelim at minimum. The WAFC were hoping it would disappear with WP not making Finals or not going deep (didn't happen), because of the points I made earlier, the WAFC are fucked in trying to sweep us under the carpet, effectively they now have to deal with it and deal with it quickly.

I know WP, CH9 and even the knob heads at the WAFC are very keen to have the broadcast go ahead, CH7 are desperate to televise the game.

What have you got for me ?

All four players in this shitstorm have acted poorly.

7 and 9 have shown that neither care about the WAFL, they are only interested in making each other look bad.

WP and the WAFC should have had this settled long before the season started but neither gave an inch or refused to find a compromise. Now they are too scared to be seen as the one that backs down.

Also this thread shows that the supporters of both sides are being just as one eyed, stubborn and pig headed and refuse to accept that all four organisations are lying to make themselves look good.

The whole time the comp suffers and now there will be no winners, even if the games are televised.

Very good point Falcon. I've always thought the comfort of the loungeroom keeps people away from the game.

I visit OzFooty daily and throw a question or comment in occasionally, mainly on the Subi forum.
I am a passionate member/supporter of the Subi footy club (and have been for a long, long time, thick and thin Go Subi)and the WAFL.
BUT, I am sick to death of this subject as a lot of others would be.
I cannot understand why the 3 main players, WAFC, channel 9 and channel 7 haven't been able to sit around the table and sort this issue out.
They aren't short of a quid and I thought, would have had professionals within their organisations to do so, obviously not.
What is the truth, does anyone know or are people just putting in their 2 bobs worth??
Where do the people on this forum get their info from?
I don't know what is true anymore, as everything I have read, heard or viewed is conflicting.
One thing I do know is that, the WAFL is a very important and without it, where is the AFL going to get it's recruits.........Centrelink??
They need us, we don't need them!
You can shoot me down or agree with me, that is your choice, boilermakers are tough.
On another subject, I have read on this forum that some say channel 7 was doing a great job with their telecasts opposed to the ABC.
Personally, the times I have had the opportunity to watch a 7 telecast, I have been disappointed how much the commentators have spoken about the AFL (mainly Freo and the Eagles)and seemed disinterested in the game that they were televising, unlike the ABC.
By the way, I have had 3 VB's, a Jim Beam and 4 ciggies writing this!! :woohoo:
Bottom line for me is to, get this issue sorted out by putting all of the cards on the table and enjoying the WAFL finals.
Go you mighty LIONS.

yep, Im hearing you and agree.

I started off positive with the Ch 7 deal, that drifted to being suspect of the WAFC to having sympathy for WP to losing patience with them to out and out distrust.

Basically your right, this entire thing has farked the comp up, and the way I see it every other club has been damaged in some way by it, the comp has been deprived of live TV coverage of marque Perth Derby games, all clubs playing WP have lost the chance of coverage and thus sponsors coverage and now the major game of the season the GF, is in doubt of any live coverage at all which will a total disgrace.

at the end of the day someone will have to be held responsible for the balls up.
