Mr AFL not sure what pages they were but not in the sports section just in the general News which mystified me as well.. Have my copy still if you really want the pages but if you get a copy of the paper they are in the main part of the paper.

TIGER OF OLD agree mate the Sunday times havent had much WAFL in the past except for the 1 page on results etc.. which was handy.. Maybe with their Sponsorship of WPFC they might give it a bit more coverage. They wouldnt waste money on the WAFL unless they had an interest. Will be interesting to see.. Time will tell.
Hey at least they are sponsering a WAFL club an that is a start especially since it is my club no complaints

Maybe something will come out of this and SOMEONE will have the guts to have a good look at this Bastardization of WPFC by the powers to be.

I have the Sunday times but must have am early or late edition as it wasn't in there. Read the article on line though. Tue new jumpers look good.

This situation is growing legs everyday. I know that a few of nines personality's in the east have had contact with the club. There's more on the horizon.

I am sure ch 9 are using all avenues to keep the ch9 brand in the public space over this issue.
its been pretty smart by them and engaging the Sunday Times has given them another area to "attack" the ch7/West media empire which is really what this is about, its nothing to do with West Perth.

Its funny that the Ferals have 7 & West Australian and WP have 9 & Sunday Times. We are going blow for blow !

West Perth are the side issue in this as its just the media people going tit for tat, for the good of the comp it does need to get sorted soon so we can all talk about the footy !

I agree. This petty argument is not bringing new supporters to the comp and disenfranchising the few there are left. The us against the world campaign being run by WP will be the final nail in the WAFL.

it wont be the final nail in the WAFL at all, its just 2 media organisations playing off against each other which will all move the the side once the footy actually starts.
Ch9 would the ones laughing at this, plenty of mentions in Stokes' paper which is what they are after.
the leadership of the WAFC/WAFL is the biggest joke out of all this, they have no control over their comp.
