swans played as a team. their pace blitzed us and we were slow. I didn't like the smoke in the boys faces at the start of the game. I have to say, I love the sound of the didgeridoo.

Leedy, as I said to you it was a weak heartless performance, the boys have what it takes but they are not hungry enough, I was so disappointed in what I watched today that i nearly vomited, admittedly 3 or 4 of the usual suspects worked their asses off, but the rest...just passengers.

Our backs just kept giving the Swans forwards to much room to run into, alternatively when the ball went into our forward line it was congested.

It is sad after coming off a premiership in 13 that we now are going to be mothballed in 14...but that's life, just hope the club in 15 can turn it around and bring us back into the 4.

Worst game of the season!!
don't care what the comments here reflect or the sad giveaways of players of the day post match (your kidding).
No leaders .. An embarrassment of selfish plays
Kicking to contests when players open
Smashed SMASHED - SMASHED in the centre - why not move manning and crisp there ... They needed to pick up their work rate today and forcing them to face their missing pressure would have at least done something
Never seen Gaudy go missing like today
Nellie - stat crazy and no effect
Adams MIA
Absolutely no leading in the forward line, no go to forward, Swans were wonderful here.
Backs tried to Mark when they should have punched
Turn over , handball handball handball , turnover
Forward 50 empty when moving forward
Almost every player dropped their heads in the last quarter.... You let your supporters down and they are sadly not even turning up now.
Bill asked for ball movement down the centre in the last Qtr - the boys result .... Out to the wings and handball handball.
Heard that some players were checking their stats on their phones straight after the game .... Are you f....g kidding me?
All credit to Blackducks - they ran free, enjoyed the game and watching their supporters get onto the field and clap them off was a rub of shame into our guys playing failure today
We are not learning anything from any of our games this year - and again - NO LEADERS
I have always tried to maintain a positive outlook on the team and a players efforts ... After all 'I'm not out there' but today was disgusting.
NOT A TEAM TODAY

Good comment Growler. Agree with all it was a disaster. IN ALL 3 GRADES
Lets hope next week we can turn it around and put this game behind us.
All we can do is enjoy the rest of the season as REIGNING PREMIERS and lets not forget that. Ressies still have a chance so we will possibly fly the flag their but even they had a Very flat day.

Looking forward to next week as it will really show where our club is at.
We had a very slim chance of getting into 4 and still do if EF fall in a BIG hole.
The unfortunate thing is the G7 Clubs are really only going through the motions for the final series so would if have made any difference.
1 team will get one final game. Another 2 and the other 3 games culimating in a Farce of a GF. It is a sad state of affairs in the WAFL. No one will get close to EP in the big one. Swans seem to be living in a dream world and think they are July Premiers :( Crowd should be interesting.. Ok if WP in the reserves final we will have a big turn up.

All we can do is go and support our teams and remain positive in 2014 because we could see a big exodus from the WAFL in the coming couple of years. Lets hope they dont cut the season down to 18 games as that will even give us less to attend.

GO THE MIGHTY CARDIES

Cardy - a bit disrespectful to Swans and their supporters to say they are are in dreamworlds and think they are July premiers. Swans supporters are enjoying watching a team playing good footy with spirit after getting written off by everyone including even their own supporter and iwas one who thought we would be lucky to win a game.
We put a kid up from colts to ressies yesterday who kicked 6 and 5-6 other colts played ressies as well so why wouldn't we enjoy the ride

I found it interesting what Bill asked for in the last qtr. I didnt go out to the 3qtr huddle so didnt hear what Bill had to say but he was right in going the quickest way home down the centre. I went for a smoke as I needed it.
The cancer of the alignment will kill the WAFL before it kills me.
But that is digressing.
It appears the team had already given up if what you say is true as they didnt follow Coaches instructions. Poor Slick was the go to man in the forward line and as I said it pissed me off as he was usually one up and had 2 SD players with him. No support as all our forward players were down the ground. A little bit of the fault must lay with Bill.
He changed the side around to give us a few more players up forward including putting Striker in the forward line. Strikes was tired as he was a brick wall in defence along with Hunty. He is a great footballer but he is only human you could see he was running out of legs.

In Hindsight it most probably would of been better to keep Crispy,Adams and a couple of others in the forward line from the start. Ok in fairness to Bill his match plan could of worked but it didnt. He should of seen that by Half time. I must admit a couple of his man ups were good with Hunty keeping Geappen out of the game and the same could be said for a couple of the other position match ups.

Just my thoughts and as I said it is great to be able to say all this in hindsight in a post mortem but it really means Duck Shit now as the game is history.

I am excited about the game next week because it will be interesting to see how both our Ressies and League Coaches react to the SD game.
A couple of major changes to our match plan will be on the cards.
No talk of bringing reserves up as the Ressies showed in their loss they are not as good as they think they are a point bought out by Paul Sanzone in his address to the players after the game..

Subi are HOT so our team will be stretched and the results will really show the teams can bounce back. It will be a big day and looking forward to the contest between 2 good G7 WAFL clubs. It is what WAFL footy is all about.
Cant wait.

Hopefully the WP faithful will turn up to support the team but I have a feeling a few of the Cupboard dwellers will not turn up :(

I am pretty sure it will be Kody Mannings and Shane Nelsons 50th next week for the club. Not a big milestone but a milestone none the less.
Or did I do my sums wrong and it was yesterday? Worth turning up to give these 2 a pat on the back anyway

Commission chief executive Gary Walton
We had an honoured guest at the game yesterday It was whispered in my ear..and suggest maybe I get in his ear.. Never saw him and wouldnt even know what he looks like. Now this is the guy who is running or should I say Ruining our great WAFL.. Background he was at the Dockers before comming to the the WAFC.
I suggest if I did see him it would be a waste of time talking to him as he has the AFL teams at heart especially the Dockers due to his involvement with them..
Hope he enjoyed the game
Strange you would of thought he would of attended the Peel v EP Derby... E.G Dockers reserves v Eagles reserves

He was the one who cracked the shits when the email was leaked re the Salary cap.. Maybe he was doing a Head count of the SD players :) :)
