144 points is the differential not out of the realms of possibility. Subiaco are a team you could beat by plenty if needs be.

According to West online he has got a broken collar bone. :(
Season over and if he was going to retire Game over.
Shame enjoyed watching him and very handy up forward..

Ol Boy, good first 1/2 by our young blokes but we didnt have the experience out there when EF flexed their muscles. We have 9 quality players out atm, wouldnt mind playing EF in the Finals, they were really good today though, umpiring was good to I thought !

yeah EF got lucky.....out of interest....could you define the word quality for me Leedy....do you mean WP specific quality or WAFL quality?......not too sure the likes of a Rasmussen or a Johnson would get a regular league game at EF......interesting to see how some folk think a top 22 player at their club would be an automatic walk up at another club......in such a do or die game, EF went into that game without their leading goalscorer and the experience of an ex AFL premiership player.....did WP?........any way if those 9 players don't make it back for WP would you agree WP chances of finals success is well and truly shagged?

Gee bit premature Leedy you of little faith. If we beat Swans which we will with our A side in it wont be an issue. And even then if we lose they have to get the percentage which they wont.

Here we go ! OK Freeze, grant you that Johnson and Rasmussen are not household names but Rasmussen has starred when playing and Johnson is one of the best kids in the comp but has not played since we last played EF,he had 2 goals before he went off and kicked 6 on debut, I would put him in the "pretty good" category then for argument sake.

I made no reference to our outs being walk up starts at opposition clubs. Your boys played very well, make no mistake, but if we were at semi full strength even, I reckon the result would have been a lot different.Yes, Lester-Smith and Hadley can play so big losses but 2 blokes are easy to replace without too much fuss and without re-shuffling the side with players filling roles out of their normal position.

If you reckon our outs did not have an impact on our performance, your kidding yourself mate ! Here are the named outs, let me know if your like for like players would leave a hole in the fabric of your side ?

Keunan, VanBerlo, Pettigrew (AFL experienced, not sure if he played in Ports flag),Tsalakis (gone for the season, always tears EF a new bum), Guadagnin, Strijk, Tedesco, Johnson, Rasmussen.

If we dont see at least 4 of them back, yes we will struggle, if we cant compete with EF, we have f*cken no chance against the sides that will make up the final 4 !

Wouldnt sweat it to much, Clearly down on talent and won 7 of your last 8 or so. Have rebounded on every occasion so i see no reason why this wouldnt happen again.

Only because the Ferals have 2 more games against bottom placed teams, we have been able to rebound all year but will struggle without those players missing, Slick is a terrible loss and he is not done with yet Cardy, he is a chance to play on next season.

Check your run in to the 2003 GF.
WP have bigger fish to fry than gummy sharks. Swans most dangerous side, if they make it.

I remember in 1975, West Perth were beaten by 20 goals by Swans at Bassendean only 3 weeks before the finals. I thought my beloved Swannies were a shoo in for the flag, but unfortunately it was the wake up call that "the Cardies" obviously needed and they ended up smashing us in the 2nd semi and Souths by over 100 points in the grand final. Shows that finals are like a new season and much that goes before is irrelevant when it comes to the crunch
