Couple of ressies could be in.. Would of loved to see Branchy in for a game as he busts his guts in the Ressies and does lot of good things. Always a trier and never gives up

Gday all. Long time stalker, first time commenter.
Couldn't agree more Cardy, gotta say there are a few ressies boys I'd like to see get a run toward the end of season.

Stockley- has been a standout all year, just cannot understand why he hasn't had much luck at selection. Worried we might lose him to another club next year...

Embley- seemed close before he got injured earlier in season, the guy is hard as nails & been in the best almost every game, deserves a chance to prove himself.

Branchy- as you said he gives it all he's got every game, does a lot of the 1%'s that often go unnoticed & pretty dependable in front of goal.

Shannon- surprised it's taken this long for him to crack a game, looking forward to seeing what he makes of it.

Seeing we have a few key players out with injuries & a few league players consistently under performing IMO (eg rodda, marusic, salecic) it'd seem now's the time to be giving these guys a run, to make sure they're ready to be called on in finals if needed.

Thoughts?

Strange call Falco, 11 and 5 and second on the ladder. Probably the fact that pressure is on for spots from beneath has improved your league teams performance

Yep agree mate..Still a few regular games to go to give these guys you mention a run. Handy if even just for the sake of seeing if our depth is really depth because a couple more of injuries and we are in the shit but if these guys have played a game or 2 of league it would give us an edge and also show us what they have to offer.. Could surprise some.. If a player is not in form in the league should be dropped back to ressies for a couple anyway
For Farks sake we can do that now especially with our position.

Second position on the ladder is something we are certainly aiming for, but it's a process we need to go through to get that and it doesn't just happen. We can't take any liberties and we can't expect things to go the way we want them to. It's only going to happen for us through hard work, planning and preparation. We think that we are a win or two short of where we need to be at the end of the year, but importantly we need to look at this week and focus on a Peel side who was really competitive last week against Swans and could potentially get three or four AFL-listed players back in plus Cruize Garlett who played in the reserves on the weekend. They are going to be a formidable side and we will need to be at our best, and we expect it to be a great test and it's something we are looking forward to.

Colts and Reserves lineups all the best to both teams lets see if we can make it a Trifecta.
