Someone saying the sooner they wake up to the fact this coach is no good the better off everyone will be, hardly falls under the category of imbecilic rantings and ravings. The only imbeciles are those who appointed him for another year and are allowing this charade to drag on, and those that defend them.

The trouble with you is you believe in all this fluff and bubble about "Let's be positive and have faith in those who are putting in the effort". If they appoint people who aren't up to it, whether they be coaches or players, all the positive energy in the world isn't going to somehow turn them into gun coaches and players but hey, it might make everyone feel good and feel positive in the off season.

Funny how you dismiss all the "positive" points i made about some of the recruits, because i said one big name recruit did stuff all and the coach is hopeless, that falls into imbecilic rantings and ravings in your book.

Your goodself & BTB have been going on about Damien McMahon for months and months.

Your posts have been derogatory and abusive to the man. This has nothing to do with me disagreeing with what anybody has said.

I have said many times that you have absolutely no idea what I think about Damien McMahon. Whether I support him or not is not the issue here. That is neither an affirmation or a denial of support.

The issue is the vitriolic and abusive attack on Damien McMahon that has been going on for months & months from you and BTB Duffy.

Everybody on here is sick and tired of every topic having some reference to Damien McMahon being made by either your goodself or your mate BTB Duffy.

It is amazing how some people get away with such abusive campaigns.

We all know you want the coach sacked, why don't you just leave it at that.

Because one thing is for sure, what ever happens in the future at the Club, it will have had very little influence from you.

I'll put that in simple terms for you. If ever DM's contract is terminated it will have had nothing to do with you.

That decision will be made by the hard working Board of the PFC.

and you have been going on about PFC new positivity for months...probably years too DF!.....

so if BTB and Johnno have little influence on the goings on at the PFC and DM coaching career, then why are you getting so worked up with their derogatory and abusive posts then DF?.....what harm are they doing?......you 3 boys share different opinions, big deal....all part of the discussion/debate process......it is not as though DM pays any attention to this thread anyway is there DF.....surely the fella has got more pressing issues to focus on than wasting his waking hours on reading all the tripe and waffle on these threads don't you think?

I couldn't care less about their opinions, they are entitled to them.

But it is frustrating when every topic is hijacked by certain attitudes towards DM. As an alternative we could have good interesting discussion.

We know the opinions, we just don't want to hear them over and over.

There are plenty of constructive things to talk about alright but you always choose to overlook the stuff you could respond to but instead you choose to always highlight criticism of the coach and complain about it. That makes you as guilty as anyone when it comes to bringing up the coach.

It is well known the Perth FC reads forums and they are very sensitive to what is written about them. Probably a hint there as to why we fail to perform on the field when the head honcho's are worried about what the critics are saying.

It's a fair call. If the club is going to continue to be an utter failure for years on end, there's no point having whingers around. Everyone else can see it's a mess and constantly going on about it isn't helping turn the frowns upside down.

It's just a shame we cant get bets on the wooden spoon in the WAFL.

So Jebus do we all form a circle and hold hands and sing Kum Ba Ya my Lord? What does that achieve? I prefer to be honest instead of sweeping things under the carpet and pretend there isn't a problem like Demons Forever does.

If i recall rightly many EF fans weren't too happy with David Dunbar and he got a mention on a weekly basis and it wasn't too kind. There are a couple of handy assistant coaches with a lot more experience than the senior coach and the Perth board will be confronted with some serious decisions before too long. I wonder if they actually even discuss Damian's performance in terms of what they need to see from the team for him to see the season out and at what stage do they cut their losses and appoint a caretaker coach?

Do they have a plan? That would be refreshing to know there are some clear benchmarks like if he doesn't have at least a 50% winning record after 8 rounds then he's gone or he gets 2 more weeks to show something etc.......

Or is the Perth FC going to continue to set the bar nice and low for Damo?

When have I ever said there wasn't a problem. For another time you have no idea what my thoughts are. I just don't express them in public like you do.

The only problem I see is the constant derision that comes from one or two quarters.

Of course they have a plan. Unlike you they have not been sitting on their hands. They have looked at our deficiencies and they have tried to address them. May not be perfect but they have done what they feel is best under the circumstances they're in.

Yes they will have goals in place for Damo, what they are who knows, but they will be put in place when seen necessary. Whatever they, are won't be influenced by anything I say on here.

Clearly some head kickers at the club have got some people rattled where they are too frightened to mention the coach. As i have said before, i wrote an email to the president before i said anything on any forums and also told him what i thought immediately after another embarrassing loss and got a blank stare and no reply to the email either. I reckon any WAFL club president worth his salt would have had the decency to reply. So don't go accusing me of coach bashing on a forum. Too bad, when the club snubs it's own members then it gets what it deserves.

Then there is the little matter of deceit performed by the club (President and CEO (x2)) who conveniently forgot to announce to the members it has extended the senior coaches contract before the 2012 season even started and then the new incoming CEO made out as though he didn't know and never gave a straight answer. That's not good enough in my book.
