Who would have got instead of Risol?

Sketcher?

Both come highly regarded or do you know something about them that we don't?

Murray can do the job now by the look of it, he's 23 I think.

Leyendekkers is only a baby and comes with huge raps. Why wouldn't you take advantage of circumstances and recruit him. Not only looking at now but the future too.

Take out Sketcher, Risol, Murray, Leyendekkers & Murray.

Who would you have recruited instead?

30+, who are the high points players you would get rid of?

All those players are high point recruits and all are rookies what im saying is instead of recruiting all those rookies i would have recruited in that bunch at least 2 mature aged experienced talls which would have meant at least 2 on that list would not get recruited.
I know as much as you know on Risol and Sketcher and once again i'll state,most of those recruits would stay on our list there is probably 2 that wouldnt to accomodate the type of recruit im talking about!

Its not going to happen so we will find out soon enough just how good it is.



And Smokey Nick Kane is one i would have looked at.

Touchy, touchy, touchy. Perhaps part of your club's problem is that you won't listen to others opinions nor look outside the square?? See my other post on Macca.

I actually rate McInnes, but definately needs some more voice and kicking boots on.

Is the forward line in disarray? Too early to tell but must get act together very soon.

No Donovan,Fry or Stack yesterday. Donovan I rate highly, Fry very accurate and may still make a presence in the league side. Stack is very, very good when on song too (none played yesterday).

Looking at McInnes yesterday he will be with us for a while and be playing FF. He will have much better games than that. I don't know who will play CHF atm and am not interested in talking about the Bush untill he is fit. Look at all the talk about Zucconi last year. Must talk about who is available and no more. Can someone tell me who it will be?

On Ball players??? This is a worry for me. Can Richardson and Manuel step up. I don't beleive Moody can. I am not sure at 32 Chance can. From what I have seen O'Sullivan is serviceable but not a Young or Mitchell. Hopefully I am wrong.

Where is the backman from Queens Park very fast and great closing speed? Forget his name but saw his dad at the game. Need him and Murray in the back line.

at least you are consistent in your attitude DF......you perceive me as a Guru as I perceive you as the De Furher......apt to think I can still call you DF tho!

Adolf, even if I did present my opinions, you would shoot me down in flames, because they differ from yours and are the flip side to anything your beloved MA and DM have done so far.

Anyway 30+ seems to have a pretty good handle on what I was getting that......I guess that comes with insight and maturity.....fingers crossed your tall youngsters mature faster than you DF, can't imagine going 50 plus years waiting for your voice to break, your testes to drop and common sense to kick in......tho I admire your passion, it's commendable and but your achilles heel at the same time. lange leben DF I say!!

26 to 22 scoring shots and lost by 50odd points Are we ever going to have a 5+ per game goalkeeper again because I just can't see it in this squad. Our reliance on midfield and flank goals is a glaring deficiency in our game plan.

Bottom line is if you dont have a tall target/s that the players are confident to go to then the ball spends most of the time on the flanks and pockets making it very hard to score.
The other factor is if your midfeld isnt getting there hands on the ball first then that can also make for a long day at the office especially for the forwards.

Imagine a Josh Smith type at CHF,bet i know where the ball would get delivered every time plus he knows where the goals are.
For mine its no coincendece that our last finals appearance we had a dominant Brett Spinks at CHF and he had a handy type at his feet when the ball hit the deck in Jermaine Davis.

An obvious comparison on Saturday was the performances of Fraser McInnes and Tony Notte.
Notte led out in front of Kane and though he was under great pressure he held every mark and converted.
Fraser led out in front of Ames and also under great pressure but could not hold a mark.
Admittedly the delivery to Notte was generally better than that McInnes received and I rate Ames a lot higher than Kane but if Fraser is going to play AFL he has to start dominating at WAFL level and get a bit of hardness into his game.
Perhaps that is why we always head out wide all the time. No confidence in the forwards to break into space or take contested marks.
This is certainly the main weakness in the team IMO. Have to agree 30+. We need a dominant forward who demands and gets the ball.

And, yes, 6 goals 16 points is just not good enough.
