Lucifer if Davis is around i would certainly play him in the forward line.
I think Reimers if we have a good midfield could also spend a lot of time in the forward line and ditto for Bateman.
I agree we need a strong marking forward that can kick goals.

DF,I dont really like Subis recruiting either other than i think KT he could be of really good value to them.
Subi appear to have targetted the older recruit ala McDougall, not worth 10 points.

Other than Bateman and Reimers and possibly Cruize garlett we need more!
And i did say as it is right now we would be favourites for the spoon,i think thats just a common sense call but as i also stated that it could change with some "quality experienced recruits" to come(hopefully).
Im not convinced about the forward line, every year supporters say we will be fine up forward and every year we fail.
The way i see it is that we have to get a midfield together that doesnt include Reimers and Bateman and that those 2 can play forward for most part of the year with just the odd run in the midfield.
Throw Davis in the mix forward with Busher and a quality tall forward(recruit) and we start to look alright in the forward line.

I also believe that our backline is in dire need of at least one tall quality key position backman.

30+, I agree with the premise that up forward we will be looking OK. With Bush back (and fully fit) and McInnes better after his rookie year, and Tunbridge who showed plenty when it was realised that he is a forward and not a defender we should have good targets up forward supported by the likes of Davis (hopefully), Reimers, Bateman, Stack, Leeson, Donovan, Moody, Bevan etc moving thru the forward line.
In turn, we should be able to cover the loss of Rossco in the midfield with Ali Smith, Cruise (hopefully), Bevan, Hodgey (tagger), Moody (I would play him as a mid), Florio, Leeson, Sketcher, O'Sullivan, Rogers (hopefully), Reimers and Bateman.
Whilst Rossco is a huge loss it should be remembered the Ali Smith had just as many take aways last season from centre bounces and stoppages and hopefully the likes of Sketcher, Bateman, Reimers, and Bevan as in and under mids will more than cover the loss.
I think that our most crucial need is some tall timber down back. Bills and Zuccs cannot do it alone and we need height to counter the tall forwards like Josh Smith, Chad Jones etc.
Just my view on things. As always I take a positive outlook and look towards us being a much improved and more competitive outfit in 2013.

Given our forward line will include:
Busher, McInnes, Tunbridge, Donovan, Stack not sure we can afford to play Bateman, Davis, Moody, Reimers all in the forward line, maybe they can spend some time there but their main focus needs to be midfield.

I see Bateman as the link, Sketcher to enhance our take aways, hopefully Garlett & I believe our midfield loses little if anything from last year. Overall I think it is stronger. A ruckman to help develop Eyres & Sandilands, a tall back and I think the squad will be looking to improve on last year.

I think the Club is doing a great job thanks to some focus from MA.

I admire all of your enthusiasm but you blokes bring out the same tripe year after year, if the players had the same get up & go as the posters on here the team would be half decent. You blokes obviously dont partake in illicit substances..

All good points but in my opinion the first bloke penciled in to be in the goal square is Leon Davis should he play of course. Terrible waste down back last year. I thought he played fine but he's too classy to be wasted there. We aren't the Pies for god sake.

I agree Sacko. He should be in the thick of it up forward. He would organise the forward line and create goals. I just hope that he stays because he wants to play.

There was a lot of criticisms of McMahon last season but that was number 1 for mine. To me it seemed a no brainer. The night we got done by South when 9 goals up he was deadset magical. Granted he didn't touch it in the last but the ball went no where near him. After that he played in the back line and couldn't impact a game. I don't care if his arse blows out to a block of flats he'll still take the piss if he's in the goal square

Why would you be comparing Perths recruiting to Subiacos?
Subi would only recruit what they think they need for 20131

Not comparing just commenting that I don't rate your recruiting this year.
