I am assuming that the 0 point players are the Colts squad and only those with points against their name are senior squad.

There are 57 players that show points against their name, that includes those players yet to come off the list.

Interestingly the list also includes the Colts graduates e.g. Chad Sandilands.

Not sure what the maximum number is.

By my calculations the confirmed losses from last year are:

Spaander 12, Young 5, Noakes Bros 12, Fraser 10, KT 5, DeJongh 3, Doogs 1.
Total points 48.

Confirmed gains are:

Bateman 1, Irons 1, Reimers 11, Sketcher 10, Rowlings 1, Morgan 1,
Total points 25.

Seems to me we have 23 points to play with = 2 quality recruits ???

Perth will finish last in 2013 as they have lost too many of their better players which is only a few. If your relying on Bateman & Reimers then you are in big trouble.

Well done terror! If Perth hadnt finished near bottom for the last 10 years I might of thought that you actually put some calculation into your assessment of our clubs position on the ladder for the 2013 season. I will attempt to add some weight to your assumption that we have lost too many of our 'better players'.

Spaanderman - Struggled with attitude and fitness and never really showed any of the previous promise that he did at swans and had no real impact - no loss.
Young - Well you wre on the money with that one although a blind man could make that assumption.
Noakes boys - Yep another two we will miss. Both are probably not the most skillful players but they always presented and could take strong marks yes they will be missed but they would be missed at any side this year apart from prob both GF teams!
Fraser - In his entire time at the club he necver won us a game off the boot as you would expect your full forward to do. He would be leaving the club next year to go play with the cheats anyway so no loss!
KT - The most dangerous left boot in the comp however I would like to think his best footbal was played at Perth and his best is behind him. Is a loss but if you were looking at rebuilding a squad he could be traded.
DeJongh - Had nowhere near the impact he did in 2011 - no loss

Coming into the side is about 270+ games of combined AFL experience. Yes Bateman is getting on but the others are still pups and will be muach stronger after playing big boys footy. And the best part is they are all ours ........ Not just playing the odd game here or there waiting for another AFL callup.

You may be right we may finish bottom next year but only becuase thats what we have done for the last 10. As I say every year terror this year is going to be one and to date it hasnt come to fruition........but you know what one day it will and you better have your earplugs on hand when we do!

Tyson Rowling played 16 reserves games for WP in 2011, comes from Bencubbin.
Harrison Morgan comes from Augusta Margaret River, played 3 reserves games for EP in 2011.
So not huge recruits, may be just trying out, although interestingly are on our list.
Don't know anything more about them.

Yep we would have to be the hot favourites for the spoon..any good judge right at this minute could predict that however im still hopeful we can recruit some "quality with experience" into the club so that we can avoid not only the spoon but also avoid finishing in our customary 7th,8th or 9th spot on the ladder.

We need to build on the recruitment of Bateman and Reimers with a couple of quality talls and the one area the club really needs to focus on is getting a forward line together that can function and kick goals.
As has been suggested the other recruits thus far appear to be younger,untried and unproven at wafl league level,hopefully one or 2 of those recruits will surprise but you cant bank on it!

Cheers mate. The recruiting campaign so far hasn't been too bad though clearly we are a couple of decent talls short. Hopefully some more to come

30plus whats your opinion of playing Davis up forward this year? I think he done a great job down back last year and always seemed to be on his own. Maybe a shift could be to play him on a forward flank.

The forward line has been a disaster for as long as I can remember. I think the last guy that kicked anywhere near a 100 was Brenton Cooper and I think Spinks had a good season in 97 as well but nothing since 2000! Why is it that every other club every year has a goal kicker and we dont. I am with you.....we potentially have one of the best centrelines in the comp this year but they have nobody to kick it too!

Heres a tip Pfc go and watch a couple of SANFL or VFL games. Find a big fat full forward with hands like a vice that wants to do nothing but stand in the goal square and kick goals all day and get him to come play at our club!

30+ I prefer the recruiting we have done to the recruiting Subi have done.

With more recruiting to come your doom and gloom is far from where we will be.

Before you say it, no I don't think we will make the four and win at least one final.

I am just giving credit for the good job the Club is doing.

Just out of interest, my understanding that the focus here on in will not be forward. We have plenty of options, rather tall backs.
