Likely that Cooley, Manzone, Hine-Baston and Cachard wiill be in the 22 as the others on the bench are named in the reserves. I'm surprised to see Joe Clark in the reserves - I thought he did a hammy. Hayward back in the reserves. I'm not a big fan, but he will keep the pressure on Kemp. No-one has managed to nail down the small forward position for a few years now. 

Gray gets consistently good numbers in the reserves, but hasn't done enough when he's had his chance in the league. Does anyone know how far away Dellamarta is? I think he would add a lot to our midfield depth, and allow Simpson or Byrne to go forward more, but he can't get a decent run at it without getting injured. 

 

Think thats a bit unfair DD. Gray was prepared to sacrifice his own game each week for the last few years in order to shut down the oppos best players, he constantly kept elite midfielders to little impact and when he went back to the reserves he constantly finds the ball and is a stoppage machine. He's also had some high number games in the league side last year, i dont think we should be bagging out our own, especially someone who is willing to do all the hard roles no one else wants to. 

You're entitled to your opinion Head as am I. I watch a lot of Demons football including all scratch matches.

I have a good feeling about this one.
A win could be on the cards here if we can feed the trio of towers.
I like the look of Chaplin he's mobile and seems to have good skills.

That forward line is as good as it’s looked for quite some time. If we can give them plenty of supply and they put a good score on the board it takes the pressure off the backs.

The addition of Thompson, Constable, Smith has brought our midfield to another level.
Clarke, Byrne, Davis can be more damaging because they're not doing the heavy lifting. 
We will win a lot more clearances.
If it's going our way more often it ain't going there's.

Great question 

Happy with the win, but again I say we need to find more goals. We had enough chances. We dominated the last quarter and should have put the game away. Q missed 3 easy ones, Thompson had some uncharacteristic clangers, and A Clarke kicked a flour bag trying to go round the corner. But good to see Q taking some contested marks, and he and Stubbs will be better for the run. Schlensog did well in the reserves and should come in after the bye. 

50 inside 50s again second time this season good signs. Only achieved that once last season. Definitely need more goals. Connection with fwd line not there yet.
