The Eastern Derby baby. Always a good contest between us but Swans always have the wood on us but we've had a few good victories in recent times too. Swans have a knack of killing us in the air so bringing in some firepower is essential down back and up front. Quartermaine, Schlenga, Johnno and Stubbs all ins for mine. That's my wish list. 

Both sides are desperate for a win so we need to bring it and no slow starts or going to sleep during a quarter or Swans will punish us.

Should be a cracking contest between the 2 midfields.

Get Q back in this team asap. To go forward 26 times in the first half against WP and generate only 10 shots at goal for 5.5 tells you where the problem lies. 

Poor old Cary hasn't been able to get his body right for 3-4 years. Its a bit awkward but back to the seconds and probably for a long time as we should be looking at last years colts before a fellow who hasn't done very much at all in the 4 years he has been with us. Harsh I know but footy is brutal. Saying that maybe replace Cary with Stubbs.

Q to come in for Bodle. Bodle may be ok but needs some work on he's marking and strength.

I only saw Preston Coates once in the preseason - didn't see him on Sat. He doesn't look a natural to me. I thinks clubs generally like to play someone twice in a row to have a look at them but I again think he needs more time to develop - back to the seconds. 

Would it be dangerous playing both Schlenga and Johnno without any warm up in the Ressies? I reckon only play the most match fit of them and ease the other through the Ressies to be ready for EP on Anzac Day Thursday.

Let's persist with Scoble. What's the word on Sing?

Hine Baston was my favourite Colt in the preseason - why isn't he playing.

Cary debuted in 2016 and has played 89 games.
He's been a reasonable contributor over his time given the team he was playing in.
But I must admit on Saturday he looked to me as if it has passed him. 
I may be wrong but that's my take on it.
It's time for us to blood the future.
Having said that, Stubbs had a very good game and should come in.
I agree Dazz, Q and Clark in the same side will worry most teams.
Particularly, with delivery from a better midfield.
I'm having difficulty fitting players in the backline.
I would persist with Scoble if Schlensog or Johnston don't return.
Sing will miss again I assume.
IMHO within a season Scoble will be preferred to Johnston.
Injury list is back up on the Club website but is just a link to the useless WAFL list.
Which is probably only as good as the information provided to them.

Out of the last 5 matches between Perth and Swans held at the oval in Lathlain, Swans have won 3 and Perth 2. That's if my foggy old memory is correct? Perth seem to be playing better already this season from all reports. Going to be interesting to see team placings when published. Conversely Swans effort last week was pretty good up until three quarter time, then fell away. Should be a close match this one.

Why is Brodie Gray named on an extended interchange? FFS he is not up to it. Who is it that keeps pushing his case? He is an error riddled footballer and I've had enough. It has to be said. Panics with ball in hand and thus makes mistakes. Played on Aiden Clarke last season and got taken to the cleaners. Clarke was the game changer. Slow learners?

He won't play DD named in Reserves.
I hear you, but he does pick up 30+ disposals in the Reserves week in week out.
Can't say he's my favourite either.
