Just the one change from last week for an elimination final at home - against a side who most likely will have late inclusions on game day to their named side

Never EVER thought I’d say this……CARN DOGS!!!!!!

Souths goal accuracy would be of concern. They finished the qualifying matches with a rate of 48 and a half percent. Which is the lowest of the teams in the finals. Having said that, their defence is good. South Fremantle only lost two Home matches this season.

WAG you were on the money regarding goal accuracy. mind you Freo was only at 50%

a disappointing way to bow out but we missed a great chance to put a lead on the AFL seconds early on and their AFL players seized upon that later
to an extent we more than matched them but it didn't matter with 14 of them to counter as the game went on
we learnt a lot today and I hope the guys keep it in mind for next year , we drew the short straw and got strong AFL presence in three games against us this year unfortunately
really disappointed we couldn't get rid of them for the WAFL sides here

Reckon the winner of today was going to go very close to winning the flag, unfortunately it won't friggen be us!!! I'm not getting into the alignment thing - it's just messed up.

Bloody inaccurate kicking cost us again!!
So did the draw v WP!! (and the 1.5 secs we needed extra for that behind to go through.
The loss to WCE when they had a stacked side lead by Nic Nat!!
And today, playing against 14 AFL players. Peel / Freo have ruined 3 finals series over the past 7 years . . . really cop them at the wrong time!!
What happened to Miller? Again??

This one stings a lot, feels like one we let slip for a few different reasons!!
See Florenca did a hammy again yesterday in the first 10 mins of his comeback. Can't get a run at it. Hopefully he can get it all together for 2023 with Matthew Parker, Jarod Doney and a few more.

Any word on retirements from after today? Schloithe, Suban?? Hope they both stick around, valuable players and leaders.

Now where in the f&^% is my drink??? =(

Where has the season gone.  Over in a flash.
Scooter & Subes are done Doggy with a few others to move on.
Will be a new look side next year and if we don't seriously recruit we will join the also rans down the bottom.

Don't think so BC.  I reckon Subi are already on the lookout.
 

Oh well season over , in what was best described as a bit of a low light finals wise, low quality game, low scores, a poor crowd and not a lot of atmosphere.

The Dockers ran out the game with greater fitness.

Thought our season was starting to run out of mojo a few weeks back and it was obvious to me that the flag was out of the question having missed top three, better to go out early tbh and end the pretense.

Oh well we finished higher up the ladder than I expected, next year another story more big names gone.
