I suppose it depends on who you follow rock. The way I saw it was that Embley tried to lay a fair bump, but was careless and stuffed it up - 2-4 weeks for me. Pav surprised me because he's not a dirty player, but I reckon frustration got the better of him and he simply wanted to hand out a sh!t mixer - 3-4 weeks for me.

If ANYONE out there can predict the penalties etc that the farce that is called the MRP, please be kind enough to give me this weeks tattslotto numbers as well!!. UNKA2 perhaps you should do an indepth analysis of the two anchors of the Foxtel AFL360 programme. It will provide a 'fair and balanced' view of the MRP amongst other things.

For example, any person who reads my posts about the Eagles know I have no love for that footy club, the outrage voiced by those anchors for what Embley did in dropping his knees was in sharp contrast to the comments about S Johnson for doing a similar thing last week end.

The outrage when a Geelong player is treated more harshly than a player from another club for a similar incident is palpable.

Of course their remarkably different treatment regarding similar incidences is not only confined to the footy. The indignation that Broad didn't walk was remarkably different to the passing comment that Haddin knew he had hit the ball. No condemnation of him that he hadn't walked.

I must not be privvy to all the outrage you speak of Swan, or perhaps it is an embellishment. Embley got what he deserved. Johnson did too, anyone who thinks Johnson did that by accident obviously don't think highly of his physical coordination.
