If Embley has any smarts, he'll cop that - it was worth more. Don't know about Pav...fair suspension, but the Freo faithful may not think so.

Thought Pavs was a bit harsh, need to have a bit more smarts when second to the contest. I thought he'd be used to that by now :-)

I would have Darling as probably our best with 5 goals and a ton of running.
I thought Fyfe was missing for a good deal of the first half then proceeded to make a good impact.

The thing with Hill is he is a bit of a front runner. He has amazing speed and skills but he seriously lacks in the defensive aspect of his game. Its not often you see him chase someone down. If he could lift in this area of his game, then he would be an outright superstar.
Also, Rich quite often gets tagged so not sure what you are on about there?

anchorman wrote: Swan what did you think of Stephen Hills game I thought he was second to Mayne as our best player.Barlow was good but wouldn't have had him as the winner of the medal. Fyfe was good also as was Mundy but didn't do the grind that Mayne did.

A/man in my opinion I didn't think that Barlow was in the top 5 players for Freo on Sunday. Mayne, Hill, Mundy Fyfe, and Johnson were better. As for the Hill versus Rich debate I don't think any Freo supporter would lose any sleep having Hill play at Freo and Rich play in Brisbame.

Who is the Eagles number 1 ruckman this season is not in question here.

Your comments re-Cox are,to say he is incapable or unwilling to provide any sort of leadership is a blight on the man most good judges consider the best ruckman of the modern era!!!!
And yes it would be acknowledge by most if not all Eagles fans that the best of Dean Cox is behind him i doubt any would question his on or off-field leadership!!
