I said this before on the SD thread, but they need to trade NN and try and get a key forward to replace Kennedy.

Beyond his performance, people should not think I am having a go at the big man unfairly; I feel exactly the same way on Sandilands. I would pick Harding and Purser in in the ruck for EF over Sandilands any day of the week.

That would be the equivalent of shooting Bambi Ark. That won’t happen he is the face of the club and means too much to their supporters particularly the young kids. I do think tho his current contract might be his last if his body continues to let him down.

You’re right DD, he is the face of the club and held in high esteem.
With his injuries and I’ve said this before on this forum, when he came to the Eagles, he was a tad over 200 cm and about 80 to 90 kilos (guessing weight). Now, he’s the same height, but carries just over 100 kilos with the same knees and ankles. Something’s gotta give. Anyway, that’s my theory.

I wouldn't trade him, when he's on the park he's probably the best ruckman in the league and highly valuable. Ruckmen with his influence don't grow on trees.

Yes but they finished top two due to him playing more than half the season with support from Lycett who is gone

TOO -- I remember that now that you mention it, I thought he had got injurred early last season. From what I have seen, the big fellow also played good football alongside Cox going back a few years.

They would have won it by 10 goals if he was playing you do realise AR....you do not trade out ruckmen of his quality, there are probably only a handful or so of top class ruckmen in the game currently one of which Sandilands has just retired.
The WCE have a pretty average midfield who rely heavily on NN to provide quality palm work out of the middle to compete and have a competitive advantage and are smashed out of the middle when he is not playing.
