Because Geelong is a Vic based team, BC, and therefore didn't need to travel. Even the avaricious AFL can recognise the unfairness of making the higher placed team travel.

Based on the informed updates on ticket prices by 58 and BH, there are now 6 million reasons.

Yes Jack but it's not a Melbourne based team and the MCG is not its home ground....so following on from your comment last weekend the AFL made the higher placed team play away at its opponent's home ground.
