Are Eagles supporters happy with the Club's moves? IMO they have done pretty well in a compromised draft where they only had 2 decent picks. Wellingham, Cripps and maybe Morton are handy ins. Cripps and Morton especially didn't cost much , couldn't see WC using pick 88 which they traded for MOrton.

Losing Kobe Stevens may well come back to haunt us but Lynch's time had come and Stevenson hasn't had much of a go.

Opinions?

Wellingham a great pick up for Eagles, ready to walk straight into the team and make an impact, Cripps and Morton will have to work hard to force there way in but good for team Depth.
Lynch was only going to be a back up player for fwd line and pinch hit ruckmen at Eagles but will get a regular spot at the Pies, Stevens i thought was under used at Eagles and will be better off at the Dogs.
I thought they should have traded Brown (who i don't rate)considering there first draft pick is 46, i trade that would have got them cripps and a pick in the 20's would have been a better option.
Overall i think they traded pretty well, only time will tell.

Agree with Daisy13,did really well picking up 3 good young players.
Losses well Stevens will prob bite us in the butt,he wanted to go so good luck to him,Lynchy was hot n cold so no real lose, and stephenson was going to battle as well, certainty to play at Port.
I would have traded Brown for Cripps and 26,think Brown may leave next year and Eagles will get Diddly Squat but you never no.

jamie bennell should prove to be a good pick up. has pace to burn and something west coast will need against top teams.
