Well done Giles exactly what you were recruited to do as the third in line ruckman.
Young Barrass is turning into a very good key backman with a back 6 that are doing very well.
Dominant midfield and well done to the best Full Forward in the comp on (the likelyhood of) back to back Coleman Medals.

Reckon the lounge chair experts will keep writting the Eagles off but they havent done too much wrong winning 8 of there past 9 games including beating 3 of the top 4 teams 2 of those on the road.

Will finish the home and away season 1 win from top spot.

Yep lol, I didn't see the game but laughed my tits off every time i heard Giles name called out (often). Ive heard that windbag Donny from Spearwood rubbishing the Eagles for recruiting him and said he is useless, the worst footballer he's ever seen. Can't believe how much air time 6PR afford that bloke. Giles wasn't recruited to be the next Dean Cox, he was a replacement for Sinclair if Natanui and or Lycett went down. Just like insurance, you don't really want it but you love it when you need it.

Funnily enough i tipped the Eags, 6 day break for Adeliade coming off a tough derby .
also missing their "gun" midfielder sloan as well. I think Adeliade are a tad over rated myself. As a cats fan thanks very much to the eags, as the last 3 weeks you have now enabled the Cts a home final. On a serious note though the Eags are in a great vein of form, and i reckon a few teams are relieved they didnt finish in the top 4

Agree with Aman, Dom Sheed has made a big difference around the packs. Watching Priddis around the stoppages is unbelievable.

Only my opinion, but the inclusion of Dom Sheed has mad a huge difference to the way they are playing.I am surprised that hardly any of the so called experts haven't picked up on that fact.His ability to win the hard ball and feed it out has left the likes of Gaff run riot out side.He has also take a load off Shuey and Priddis.His hands are as good as any in the side and his decision making is second to none.
