Leather stops has been banned for 1 week. His responses on this topic are unwarranted particularly considering he was appointed as a moderator on the Essendon board just recently. I have now appointed Dirty Weekender as moderator for the Essendon board.

Well done. Hopefully he gets the message that you can have robust debate and disagreement without getting personal. Bazza has been a lot more on topic since he was banned I think.

Hopefully the big fella will lose none of his leaping abilities.

These type of injuries for any of the top 8 teams so close to the finals determines just how far you can go in September.

I wonder if Nic and the club would consider the LAR's surgery for him given the time of the year that it has happened and that this surgery would give him some hope of returning early in 2017.

Don't barrack for Freo 58Shark, I am an interested observer of AFL but I support Swan Districts ( which hasn't been too much fun this year mind you!). Also since I posted that, the person I referred to there has been banned for a week. To my knowledge the none of the Freo guys have.

Must admit I was very impressed with West Coast tonight. They have hit their straps in the last 3 or 4 weeks and barely missed Nic Nat tonight because Giles rose to the occasion. Their midfield completely shut down the Crows and the 29 point margin flattered them really as the Eagles looked a 10 goal better side tonight. They will probably play an elimination final next week ( unless there are some upsets over the weekend) but it will be at Subiaco and if they can keep playing the way they did tonight they will be hard to stop.
