Maybe doing this would give them the same problem they have now….no meaningful draft selections to trade?

The Eagles last first round draft pick was Jarrod Brander 2017.
SPP-Sam Powell Pepper.Reported not to have the greatest relationship with coach Ken Hinkley.Has a horrible disposal by foot.But has the heart of a lion.And gives 100% every time he plays.A great wet weather footballer.Puts his head over the footy, tackles, bumps+Sheppard's and blocks. 

Just watched On The Couch and they gave the Eagles an absolute bake - well deserved of course.  Melbourne at home next Monday night, let’s see if they can muster a set of nuts between them.
Seems to me that when Eagles had a heap of players out with injury, they played back to the walls footy and stood up.  Soon as the “stars” came back, they’ve fallen to pieces.
