I think the returning players will be better for the run but this game demonstrated clearly that the Eagles are not serious contenders for the flag. They will probably make the 8 but they are nowhere near the top 4 or 5 teams

Was poor selection by the Eagles also, it's inexplicable how a team that contains Kennedy, Darling, Allen, NN, GUV, Barass, and other tallish players such as Hurn, Shepherd, and Rotham, playing against the hardest running team in the business, ON A WET DAY, would then select another tall in Jake Waterboy to play.
