What has me concerned is there has been no statement from anyone at the WAFL saying they are contacting publishers to keep the Football Budget going.
It looks like they are trying to sweep it under the carpet and hope no one will notice it is missing when the season starts.

So will the country leagues no longer have budgets? Whatever company is producing theirs is surely not making a profit on it either. And the country footy budget has remained the original size not like the overly large wafl one

They have been as quiet as a church mouse on this developing issue SF4L!

I daresay there will be no Bouncedown magazine either this year! :(

It will be an absolute disgrace if the football budget is not continued and Gavin Taylor will be feeling the heat.

Which Free to Air network calls itself the home of football and who owns that network and what else does he also own that prints a newspaper? Hello, anybody there???

A test for the WAFC, if they dont take some action to ensure the Budget survives in some form it will confirm, without any shadow of a doubt that they dont give a rats bunghole about the WAFL. if anyone has a way to contact JT, or if he still occasionally looks on this site, get him to push this barrow, get the WAFC to be accountable. They managed to pay big $$$ to get the TV broadcast so why cant they do the same for the Budget, small change by comparison. They have a couple of months to get this sorted.

I'm sure JT is across it but he'll be told to mind his P's and Q's if he suggests Kerry should take up the task or there's the door mate.

Craig O'Donoghue from The West wrote the story so you'd think JT would be all over it.

Could survive if it went digital.

Trouble is, how many WAFL supporters are that way inclined?

why would WAFL have made a statement? If current publisher has withdrawn, they would be working through options and we are still months away from season start. They could also publish themselves. To expect WAFL to comment or release a statement on every single matter is ridiculous
