think the arbitrator is wanting a more definite decisive decision from you boys....tho sounds like Boekhorst and Kommer might be too old and injury prone....Strnadica EF through and through and already knocked back Perth interest multiple times...Jupp is Boekhorst best mate and EF reigning F&B...and Loersch at 203 cm is not the like for like tsf you seek being 15 cm taller and played about 50 games less than Leggett and injury prone too.....take the Masten fee and let's call it a win win for both clubs...

The problem seems to be that no EF player (bar Masten) wants to go to Perth.

Anyway, Perth fans are not confused about who we want for Leggett, we are simply suggesting the types of players of similar ability, rather than the reserves no-names you think should suffice.

Perth have just issued as amended press release re Masten: "The PFC is pleased to announce the signing of Chris Masten to a two year deal, subject to his unfettered right to play for another WAFL club at any time." We really need a new contract lawyer at Lathlain.

Ted....Trops came to Perth as a no name player out of EF reserves...being a bit harsh there on Quill, Scott, Cuneo et al.....let's just hope all parties concerned get a positive result....by parties.... I mean players not fans...because we all know how important the well being of the players mentally and physically is.

You EF supporters and Cody Leggett are living in fantasy land if you think an arbitrator is going to come to your rescue and throw the whole system into chaos. The rules are there in black and white.

I'd say someone is giving Cody some very bad advice. I reckon Billy Mammogram has a big role to play here. He could easily say to Cody just see out your contract and let's see what happens at the end of the year. But I think Billy is finding the cupboard a bit bare at barron park compared to Joondy and is getting desperate.

Then you, or any other club, can have him for a transfer fee. In the meantime, if we can make finals, and Leggett has a good year and enjoys his footy, he may decide to stay. We send a message to our players and other clubs that we are not a soft touch and won't let players break contracts easily. That the success of the club is more important than the whims of individual players.

It would be a joke if an arbitrator did no more than allow a player to break a contract with no consequence, and caused Perth to be weakened at the expense of a rival club.
