gtr...looks like a lot of folk are still not happy with these Trump style tariffs anyway....time will tell if these tariffs can help EF end their 20 odd year premiership drought...if Perth can finally break their 2O odd year finals appearance drought....if SD can stop a George wooden spoon 3 peat....and SF can stop choking in the last fortnight in September....gonna be galling if Subi keep winning tho...the melt down will be Vesuvius like I reckon...esp for a few obsessed punters particularly....

Is the action on subiaco unprecedented? Has a peak body ever targeted a single team like this before for being successful? Seems unfair to me.

Agree, looks a tad embarrassing TBH...for all concerned...never heard or seen such a thing in my life time watching competitive sport....but I guess something needed to be addressed to appease all the apparent unrest...

Wish you blokes would get your hand off it.
Time to wake up boys.
Subi have not been singled out.
Rules apply to the competition.
Yes there are a couple of little extra ones for Subi.

The sad part is Subi and their supporters don't get it.

The need is simple.
Bring Subi back into line.
Only trouble is we can't stop the paper bags.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!

I hope you're taking the piss DF when you say a couple of little extra ones for Subi when in fact the WAFC has deliberately prohibited the club from recruiting anyone over one point. As others have said, I don't recall one club being targeted in such a way in any sport at any time anywhere in the world in the last 50 years.

Subi will just have to train even harder now, they have told all other clubs that is the reason for their success, its not about recruiting or money so what is the issue - just train harder.

Not only do they train harder, but they also train for longer than others. And if anyone can, Subiaco can - because their culture is so much better than others, on top of their capacity to 'train harder' and 'raise the bar'.

If ever a non-Aussie asks you for an explanation of the "tall poppy syndrome", just point them to this thread. ;)
