Get fitter
Train harder and more often
Get Better
Develop a winning culture
Don't bring in has-beens and players guaranteed games.

For those that chose not to watch the game you missed some of the most breathtaking sublime goal to goal football I've ever seen anywhere.

When Subi were getting record scores kicked against them in the late 70's and 80's week after week I never wanted the other teams to get worse, I just wanted mine to be better.

Further note to Souths:
Don't play fat players
Don't play players that are out of form. Five of your players had 3 consecutive finals games with less then 10 possessions in each, and there were another 4 pretty close. Don't blame Subi for your poor performance.

I am sure if you gave other clubs the same access to money that Subi has that those areas could be addressed.
the fact that an ex umpire with no playing background can go there and coach a flag shows it cant be too hard.

What a disrespectful, ignorant attitude. What would you know about how hard other clubs work and the resources they work with

Yes, having money like that would be great, but there are simpler things that can be done without cost.

1. Get down to your local Junior Clubs and be seen. Kids need something to aspire to.

2. Get down to your local amateur Clubs - people need to see that you are interested.

There are lots of players out there who could, now or in the future, be your players.

My Club (a senior amateur Club) had a visit this year for the first time in 7 years. He came on a woman's training night and was only looking for junior female players.

In the same time period, we have had one invite to a President's pre-game lunch and one invite to a district council AGM

What does this say to our players, supporters and Committee?

As they haven't won a WAFL premiership in 30 years, what is it they are doing wrong or could be doing better?
