What a great round six.The mighty royals won against the odds. Both Peel and West coast lost.West Perth giving Perth a bit of humble pie.
Great to see the sharks heading in the right direction.
Finally I won't have to hear from my subi friend about their winning streak.

Pretty much a round for the underdogs apart from Claremont. The monkey is off Subi's back as we again showed we are a long way off past years level and vulnerable to a fast close checking team. Great round for the competition though.

Yes, Chaddy, Perth fans need a big serve of humble pie. After those 5 wins I had completely forgotten we hadn't played finals for two decades. Much needed reality check.

I had just assumed we would win the flag TN, so yes this has come as quite a shock to me.

And is interesting to note the matches (apart from the Claremont game) were still up in the air at ¾ time.
At the last break Swans were less than a goal down.
Souths were 16 points to the better.
Perth down by only 2 goals.
Thursday nights match which seems a long time ago saw a three quarter time
difference of about 20 points.
It would have been a good spectacle for the crowds who went along.
Next weekends fixturing will be most interesting.

West Perth v Mandurah game will see either a logjam around 5th or a bit of a division from 6th
the Subiaco v Claremont match will start shaping the top 4
but if there's one or two unexpected results the top 5 could be wide open

As a Subi supporter i was obviously disappointed with the result but the way your mob played was from a pure football pov a treat to watch, if you keep that level up you will be hard to beat. The fact that there are 3 teams level at the top and Claremont snapping at their heals is great for the comp and now WP starting to get some improvement and the AFL sides always capable of an upset, particularly peelmantle, is all looks well for the comp. Most would expect SF, Su, Perth & Cl not in any order, to fill the top 4 spots with Joondy, Freo & the Eagles fighting it out for 5th. i dont think we will see any club as a run away leader, those days for Subi are gone especially with the rise of Perth and Souths.
