U know ..... The whole logical article about compensating - that was the theme of the article- compensating the people that developed that player and put them there.

I think his article was more about the mid season draft being to the detriment of state leagues than anything else. He quotes the SANFL guy and also suggests South Freo would have been better off having a ressies player drafted. Compo gets a mention but I don't think it's the main thrust of the article.

And as a staunch subi man I'm sure u know Jack's father, imagine trying to tell him his son shouldn't got the AFL because it's detrimental to the Wafl...good luck on that one.

Tuggers...with the main draft, rookie draft, supplementary draft I think these guys have more than enough opportunity to get picked up if they're good enough. Will Mayo, Pickett or Deluca get a a senior AFL game this year?...maybe but if they don't and finish up playing the year out in the VFL then what a waste and the AFL and also the WAFC for that matter should be brought to account.

Like I inferred earlier, it's not about Wafl or vfl or restricting talent. They deserve a chance , regardless. Who gives a fuck if they spend a year at another club, it's an insane argument.
