The SANFL has named their 30 man squad for the upcoming big state game
The squad will begin training on the 30th April. Apparently three training sessions to be held before the final team is named and departs on Saturday the 11th for the match to be played the following day on the 12th May.

Great contribution, show's foresight and analysis on those 6, many others would have not contemplated them at all.

Southerner, from my teams pov, along with kitchen, the following players should come under consideration for the state squad.
Backs: Lockyer, Litherland and Heal, all proven state performers
Mids: Horsely, Deluca, Delahunty, Max Walters & Hayden Kennedy
Forwards: Sokol and Waters

Thats 11 but suggesting as squad not necessarily final team.

What is the point in discussing the State Game when Genuine WAFL supporters are being denied the opportunity to view it unless you want to pay the admission fee to view a Dorkers game and then only from the seats no one wants.

That is very frustrating and disappointing TRSM. A missed opportunity to play the game at Lathlain or Leederville to an audience of real WAFL supporters. It will still be a great honour for players selected so I think that this is a worthy discussion. In my opinion, Swans players who will come under consideration for the squad are Corey Gault, George Hampson, Nathan Blakely, Jesse Turner, Tony Notte and Matt Riggio.

Um I thought the state game was pencilled in at Leederville?
From memory was played over at Bassendean last year.
