Very true La Hincha, amazingly WCE, and Fremantle to a lesser extent, have done more damage to the WAFL competition than any Victoria club.

I can think of 3 examples straight off but I'm sure there are many others.

1. They were the ones who demanded saturday afternoon matches in Perth in direct opposition to the WAFL.

2. Pushed and pushed and eventually steam rolled the second introduction of the host club, despite the damage it did first time around. I heard from some Claremont people that it nearly ruined their club back in 1999. True East Perth supporters beware. You have been sold down the river.

3. Have demanded and been allowed to encroach on the foundation day fixture. This was always the WAFL's only day in the sun so to speak, and it has now been severely compromised for no other reason but to flex their muscles and help destroy the viability of the WAFL.

The man at the centre of all this is Trevor Nisbett. It is very sad if you look back through history and see how much has been changed or destroyed because of one very powerful individual and only because no one stood up to them.

Rules are rules S&S otherwise the competition would become a complete farce if those 2 AwFL clubs were allowed to play their players at any WAFL club on any week just to suit themselves!

As always LH is the man with most common sense on this subject.

My wife was watching AFL 360 lastnight and picked up on Robbo's comments regarding NicNat's AFL return - "You don't run thoroughbred's in country meets"

She instantly picked up that Robbo was referring to the WAFL.

Rules my arse, they make the rules to suit themselves they know 99% of the footy public dont give a rats arse about WAFL - whats good for Nik Nat and the Eagles comes first to just about everyone.
