Congrats to all those selected in the 16 and 18 squads....have a peek on the WAFL website for a comprehensive list.....be interesting to see what access if any the WAFL clubs will have to these kids during the trial and actual comp games.... more since the AFL has become more involved.
Both squads look pretty exciting with some familiar names, like Hill, O'Reilly, Rhi Arn Box, English , Carter et al.......from an EF perspective great to see 4 X 16 yr olds in the 18s squad, who all don't turn 17 till well after the carnival in Rivers, Ruscoe, Sharp and Aussie junior rep basketballer Luke Jackson ....Perth and SD have some exciting players, whilst Subi boy Schofield (son of Subi coach) comes with big wraps.....pity EF boy Tom Joyce has a season ending hip injury, would of been a monty for selection...as he is looked upon as a top 30 pick thru his AFL academy involvement.
From a 16s perspective SD have a couple of big boys, one already at 202cm....a few Freo NGA boys...heard some good things about EF selections in the Walker twins and Keanu Haddow...no doubts other posters can elaborate more on players and their own clubs selections....
