I dont really care about this state game, the WAFC is going to play it in Northam ffs shows how much importance they place on it, hopefully Bevan gets through unscathed.

Dont know how I saw Ali Pickett instead of Ali Smith. Agree with the poster though but when you look at the WAFL team there are a few outs that should be in.

Over the next couple of days I am going to have a go to pick the State Team just for something to do..There is a contest on the WAFL site to pick the team as they do each year. Havent heard what was the results of Handley with his injury from the last game so he might be out and leave an opening for another player..
I will post my original team on here and change it as the game gets closer. I see he hasnt been selected for this weeks game v Peel

Presumably no Eagles or Dockers listed players will be available to play.

Realise you comment was tongue in cheek as was mine mate as all players who are performing (if they got picked) should represent their state and get a State Jumper.
No Listed AFL players are eligible but pretty sure Rookies are eligible if they havent played AFL. Pretty sure that is the way it is but stand to be corrected.

Cardy presumably the selection policy would be the same as previous years where an AFL listed player would be available if he hasn't played for the Dockers or Eagles. I was suggesting that although they may be eligible they would be blocked from playing, because it is in Northam, by their AFL club.

Well sat down and worked out a State squad from the selections given. Suspect Handley might be out injured but no updates forthcomming as yet..State team is posted earlier or on the WAFL SITE.

Looks acceptable.. I did leave out a couple of yours out because performance in last couple games. No Van Berlo? Must be in surely. Shit I just notice I have Nelson in Ruck Line..Will have to fix that. But thanks for your input

Great idea having the game in Northam, only a 20min drive for me. There has been big improvements at this ground over the past few years so the facility's are up to standard infact the player facility's are way ahead of Basso and Claremont. Hope to see lots of swans supporters there, they have a lot in common with the Northam locals.

tosg I certainly won't be there. You have been to both facilites have you tosg?

When did you last attend a game at Basso?
