There will always be a WAFL, if the WAFL means as much to you as the WAFL means to me.

The general interest has fallen right away I'm sad to say!
Obviously Subiaco are upset about the last 2 seasons (as well they should be) and going all out to win the premiership if this is the last year of the Wafl.
The competition can't keep going the way it is. It will be up to the 7 Wafl clubs to effect some positive change, but one feels it's too late!

If Perth and Swans can continue to notch up upset victories it will breathe life into an otherwise predictable competition. We know though we are all playing for second.

Here's something for all the critics of Subi. A terrific article by JT which sums it up very nicely and from memory he's a Claremont supporter...so no bias there.

Why just SD and Perth DD?.... considering SD made the finals last year and won a flag only not so long ago...would of thought SD success is a given and not really helping change the predictability of the comp what so ever....Perth haven't won a flag in 4 decades, EF in two decades thought these two clubs success is paramount to equalization of the WAFL

Interesting article by Townsend. Subiaco are a powerhouse yes. The WAFL and some clubs just do not help themselves though. Lack of engagement with there fans and lack of info to promote there own cause does not help
.It also helps though that SFC have a massive amount of dollars to pay for the best talent considering a move to another WAFL Club or indeed entering the WAFL. It should have been mentioned that the WAFC and the Clubs themselves allowed it through tickets at Subi oval for AFL games.

BC,

Terrific my arse !!! Its commonly known as "Cash for Comments" blah blah blah. Some of the dumbest shits circle around the true reason that they are able to get the players to that standard and it's purely and simply $$$ and they 100% paying blokes under the table. He makes a point that players want to go there in chase of a Premiership, the rest of the players in the competition are left pondering with all the effort they put in as to what they have to do as they all have jobs they have to commit to to make ends meet.

Freeze,

Because 7 teams are currently on 1 win a piece it doesn't make it an even competition until $ubi's well has run dry and the alignment on a lesser note is disbanded.

After 3 rounds how many games do you think Subiaco will win in the home and away season? Undefeated

How many points will Subiaco finish in front of the second team? 20

What other teams will make the finals? SF, SD,WP,EP

Who will be Subiaco's opponent in the 2018 GF? SF

Roman wrote: Percy said this morning that Schofield is in the best three coaches in Australia.
I say anybody can coach a team like that at their disposal Percy.

He also added that it's an interesting comp.
Take out Subi and then it will be an EVEN comp Percy.

Subi should be the third team from WA to join the AFL.
They won't do much worse than hack teams like Carlton, St Kilda, Brisbane & Gold Coast.
Then we would go back to an eight team comp.

Biggest pile of horse shit I have ever heard. Unfortunately if Percy has had some interaction with any individual he claims a percentage of there credit, he has had an involvement with Schofield hence why he blows wind up his arse. I have said for a few years now, give Schofield the Perth FC and lets see how he goes, the theory of players wanting to go to where he is coaching will be proven to be horse shit as well.......

Yeah I think Watters in the AFL blows up this crap about Subi coaches being amazing. As does German's record - useless at Peel, great at Subi, currently residing in the "where are they now?" file.
