I see Subi is offering AFL packages at the new stadium in conjunction with the Camfield pub. Is this something all WAFL clubs are involved in or has Subi beaten everyone else to the mark?

I'm selling packages to the AFL - they come complete and enclosed in a choice of 2 shades of brown paper bags & additionally you have your choice of either the solid or runny surprise , included in the price is a box of matches and directions to the nearest AFL front door

yep..very droll...I see they're on trial for the first month of the season so not sure what the deal is beyond that.

Exactly what are the Subi packages, don't tell me they have wangled another "seat deal" at the new stadium??

I'm not sure what the story is as the Subi footy club website said it's a trial for the first month of the AFL season. For $220 for WCE games and $190 for Dockers you get a meal in a private room at the Camfield, 150 minutes of free grog before the game, guest speakers, an MC, premium seats and VIP entry into the Camfield after the game. It sounds to me as though the club has stitched up a deal with the Camfield and seats from the WAFC but are testing the waters to see if it takes off before committing long term after losing money or just breaking even with the AFL packages at Subi over the last couple of years.

Might have bought a block of seats, then done a deal with Budgie at the Camfield, like you say probably sussing it out, personally Id hold back a season, see how it pans out each game, the camfield might be fine pre and post game without need for a deal and Ive been looking at the ticket site, there looks like a heap fo walk up decent seats already for 44 - 66 bucks , so it looks pretty easy to organise yourself.

I got 4 games via my workplace in a pre season raffle draw, about 66 bucks each for premium seats, scored Sunday in the draw so it will be good to see the 1st up ever game there., going to be a bit of a mad weekend, got Leeuwin Concert then back into for game!

Ok...thanks for that Mr AFL. I'm not sure how Subi got themselves involved in it but if they can make a few bob then good on them for having the initiative. So I take it the Camfield's package at $106 doesn't include entry to the ground and a premium seat?
