After a decade away from Swans .David Ellard answered a Swans sos and returned to the club.And is one of the reasons for Swans revival in 2017.
An Article in the Eastern Reporter about Davids father Rick.Who has been diaognosed with Parkinsons Disease.Most of us dont know much about Parkinsons apart from the great Muhammid Ali.Who fought the disease for over a decade.

Rick Ellard was a very good footballer in his own right Gtr who was playing at Swans at the peak of our powers in the early 80s before having an outstanding career at Kalamunda in the old Sunday Football League including winning the Bowden Medal which was the Fairest & Best in the SFL along with a couple of Premierships.

Had some fun times with the Swan Valley boys in the Hills comp too. Rick could really play, easy to see where Dave gets it from. Players he coached loved him.
