How could they let it come to this?

The team that plays finals should be representative of the team that participated in the home and away season.

Botton line: if you average the year with 11 AFL players then that is the limit that play in your finals campaign.


Competition has become a farce.

And its not as if they WAFL was not warned.

Sorry for the South Freo boys today who were monstered and even the 8-10 Peel lads who got them to a Qualifying final and were dispensed with.

uhtb the body responsible for this farce is the WAFC. They allowed the host club alignment and they chose to allow the prostitution of the finals by setting a limit of 15.Added to that they then chose to disadvantage all the other clubs by scheduling matches on a Sunday knowing that only one footy club is full of full-time professional players who will have the whole week to recover.

I'm looking forward to the real WAFL contest at Bassendean tomorrow unlike the fake one at Fremantle today. I think the Doggies will pick themselves up and have another crack at Peel at Mandurah in a few weeks (assuming Subiaco beat them next week of course)

Just another black day for the WAFL. As Hinch would say, Shame, Shame, Shame!! Thanks to Peelmantle and the West Coast Royals, our state league is becoming less relevant day by day.

You may well be right, but what would that say about the Wafl, if Subi win the flag the same sooks will be out in force.

PN two of the major problems with the WAFL are the host club alignment and subiaco's dominance.
