Everyone plays each other twice, with the exception of Traditional Derbys. Appears most clubs have agreed to it.

Using the perverted logic perhaps we should have reduced the season to 8 rounds? Just imagine how much money the clubs would have saved then. So we have gone from 21 rounds to 20 and now 18.

Now you can call me a cynic: isn't it amazing that the number of rounds channel 7 wanted was 18. What an amazing coincidence.

Presumably one of the extra rounds will be: South and Esst Freo, East Perth and West Perth, Swans and Perth, Claremont and Subiaco.

This must be Gavin Taylor's idea of making the competition more even by penalising even more significantly the clubs that are required to play the host club aligned clubs three times in a season.
