Given the wet, blustery and bitter weather last Saturday this result is probably what was expected.

Disappointing for West Perth and Subi with the International day.The weather conditions had been well publised days earlier than Saturday.

Perhaps we can all try to invite a couple of people who don't normally go to the footy to go to a WAFL game this Saturday.

Coffee van closed early on Saturday at Leederville not due to a lack of customers but because they ran out of milk for the coffees and hot choclates such was the demand for something to warm up the body.

Wow 991 at Lathlain Grassy. 2 spectators only on the entire outer side of the oval. I'm flabbergasted it was that many Grassy to be honest. Would have thought 100 in the shed 300 in the stand and a couple of hundred underneath. If truly 991 that's a great turn out on a day like Saturday. As cold a day as i have ever experienced at the footy.

Don't wish to put a dampener on the topic. Noticed it's the lowest total attendance a week 15 of fixtures for over 10 years. And the lowest attended round of matches thus far for the 2017 season. Although we all realise the footy being a winter sport, the weather being very cold and poor conditions prevailed on the day throughout.
