How çlose I am will probably not be too clear right up to the last round because there's 7 teams capable of reaching September as it currently stands.

1. Subiaco - 11 wins / 1 loss , inching closer to guaranteeing top spot & so far the deserved favourites for the premiership , one more win assures finals this year. (A+)
2. South Fremantle - 8 / 4 , consistency has been the issue and two close losses by a goal or less against each of the alignments will come back to hurt at the pointy end. (A)
3. West Perth - 7 / 4 , have done extremely well this year and are a side capable of progressing a long way into September although depth may be their biggest obstacle. (B+)
4. Mandurah - 6 / 5 , take the AFL out and it's not even a B grade amateur outfit but if laden with it , then it's a vast unknown threat regardless of position. ( ? )
5. Swan Districts - 6 / 5 , big improvers this year and if at full strength a difficult opponent to come across , have to negotiate probably the worst of the fixturing & injury (B+)
6. Claremont - 5 / 6 , the Elephant in the room , a very dangerous talent laden side that belies it's position on this ladder , expect them to figure prominently over the next few weeks. ( B )
7. WCEEP - 5 / 6 , read Mandurah however they'd be an A grade Ammo outfit if no AFL influence. ( ? )
8. Perth - 2 / 10 , have some great young talent coming through and have provided some bloody good entertaining footy at times but injury has stuffed them just when it wasn't wanted , form issues with senior players hasn't helped that either (C+)
9. East Fremantle - 1 / 10 , given the squad on paper at the start , very disappointing (D)

Southerner great post with some good analysis. I think your very kind to some clubs particulally those at the bottom.

Ef -- F
Pfc F
CL C
SD C+/B-

Perth should have been made to train yesterday after the game -- right in front of the EF members. I wish Earl on the best with them next year,

Mate honestly there isn't any E or F graders in this comp - Perth have blasted 8 goals in one first quarter this year and pushed top sides , EF have pushed top sides & kicked 19 goals on the weekend - E & F graders don't do that.
Claremont are a seriously dangerous figure & have halved their games that's a B even mark
Swan Districts are markedly different to last year but are rebuilding things & worthy of the distinction +
Yeah it's just an opinion though ;) :)

A few Swans supporters were thinking the same ala Mal Brown style about making us train after the final siren AR after that lamentable effort at Claremont yesterday.
