EP V WP was a great result with a live TV telecast.Do you know the TV ratings for that match.As you said the Freo Derby was good given the Shark's rebuild season in 17.

yep...I was down at the chunderdome on Saturday and can state categorically that there were more Subi supporters at the game than Dockers. there was sporadic clapping in the main stand when Freo kicked a goal but that's about it. comparing that to East Freo on Monday was like chalk and cheese...a fantastic atmosphere with even the Shark supporters getting behind the team on the odd occasion they won a contest and went inside 50 and the place going berserk with tongue firmly in cheek when they actually scored.

Exactly BC, EF members pretty full and the Shark Pit always creates great noise as its an outside bar right on the boundary, plenty of Bronx cheers, a bit of honour.

Best sound at a WAFL game all year for mine.

wouldn't to be often a perth derby beats a freo derby

I will be bold enough to put the case for BH that your suggestion should be accepted with the one variation. Net year the two matches that were played on the Monday this year should be played on the Saturday next year and the other two matches should be played on the holiday Monday next year.

Sounds like a great idea.

The EP WP crowd was a tad misleading.. free entry for the 1000 kids & parents that went for the EP junior zone day at half time, by the time the last quarter started the crowd was down to about 3k..
