What do you expect fellas? The Wafl has now been turned into a farcical glorified training exercise.

Not at Basso today it wasn't, a game worthy of TV coverage and a good crowd considering hardly any Claremont fans there
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

So , in two televised matches within the first 7 rounds of the season , I've witnessed probably the worst display of Australian Rules footy I've ever seen.

There is ample proof that a game which used to have contests , high marking & skill - is now just a male beauty contest , a rolling scrum where not one of them gets a scrap of dirt on them.

The AFL has turned footy into a pissweak game for hip poofters - shocking advertising having that rubbish on general TV

What time did the game start?

2.40?

And Well promoted I suppose?!

Let's start with the premise (as ridiculous as the premise that the WAFC is interested in supporting the WAFL) that Freo or Eagles supporters would be interested in watching Peel or East Perth how could they watch the WAFL game in Mandurah and then watc the Eagles Freo match?

Secondly, on balance on what basis do they select the matches to telecast? Speaking about the best matches to televise featuring Swans I would suggest that matches against Perth, West Perth, South Freo and Claremont are generally good matches to watch. So what matches feature Swans this year: Subiaco and Peel. Enough said. Similarly, I am sure other WAFL clubs' supporters could select other good matches to be televised.

All understood Sd.
I should have said, some aspects of the Wafl. That would be a better descriptive.

By all accounts, a very good match across at Bassendean. Only a goal the difference at half time, the reports say.
Swans powered on in the third quarter, then Claremont coming back in the final term. With Swans holding the Tigers out for the 17 point win.
Swans had 20.8 Ball Disposals/ Goal
% of Ball Disposals Ins50 12.1
And 48.7 % of the Game Ball Disposals

Whilst Claremont finished at 25.2 Disposals/ Goal
% of Ball Disposals Ins50 16.4
With 51.2 % of the Game Ball Disposals

The West Perth – Perth match was also a cracker of a game apparently, with Perth pushing the Falcons all afternoon The Demons falling short at games end by 19 points.
For those interested, have heard no tv telecast next week, apparently? Unsure how a million dollars buys so little? Coupled with abc radio being lost in space somewhere, it’s a very bleak look!
With West Perth and Claremont looking likely winners next week, one would have thought one of the other 2 matches worthy of covering? The improving Perth and Souths at Lathlain, with Swan Districts hosting Subiaco should be 2 top games, one would think. Nothing will be on tv it appears!
