it's not irrelevant garbage as I can bet coaches keep track of similar stats as it highlights teams that need to change the way they approach the game otherwise they'll continue to get penalised. it may be a team needs to alter its tackling style, or method of disposal, or attack on the ball carrier, or back chat to the umpies...if a team continually finds itself on the end of a negative free kick count then questions should be asked why? it could also reflect an unconscious bias by the umps which I think was the case last year when Subi, WART and FART were on the receiving end virtually on a weekly basis...just my opinion and could be wrong...maybe Subi, WART and FART needed to change their approach to the game to better fit with umps interpretation...who knows...but these stats are certainly not irrelevant garbage as they tell a story.

in my opinion it is.
the figures in isolation are useless.
