I was looking at Swans team list for 2017 and counted 13 players who had previously been AFL drafted who could possibly play for us this year.

Apart from Peel and East Perth, how many from your team?

Swans list is, Banfield, Bennell, Blight, Crowley, Ellard, Gault, Newman, Notte, Pearce, Riggio, Ugle and Yarran. Added Xavier Ellis though not officially on our list as yet. I know a couple have not been confirmed but they are listed. Any others I have missed?

Another interesting figure would be actual AFL games played excluding NAB cup.

I wonder how the bogans can afford such a line up of ex AFL guys? surely they're not doing stuff under the table.

I count seven for Perth..Jones, Graham, White, Stack, Colledge ,Irons and Smith atm.
Would have been eight with Tendai but that is another story.
We could add a few coaches to that list..Spalding,Bateman and Moss..

Most of those boys are local zone talent returning to their local home club they were drafted from ...a couple of things your own own foreign legion mob know absolutely nothing about- local & drafted!

pretty sure Subi have won a few more flags than the rest of us WAFL clubs put together during this time as well BH....considering flags determine success, one has to think Subi seem pretty well versed BH....more so than you care to admit mate

I wasn't aware that because they're returning players their salaries aren't counted towards the cap...learn something every day...

Probably the same way $ubi have been doing it for nearly 30 years .....all by the rule book apparently!
