Hey GWS.If the weather is fine and the track is good.My tip is a good crowd.Freo fans and members are wrapped with the big effot there players are putting in for Peel.
We will see how this week goes.The local media is excited about this historic GF.And Freo may offer packages to there 40,000 members.My tip 25,000.

A lot of one-week Subiaco supporters this weekend no doubt.

By the way, congrats to the Lions on being the best 1st XVIII side in Western Australian football (besides the Eagles and Dockers of course).

I think the weather was fine last year when West Perth wilted. The year before was shocking. I'm depressed about the whole situation with the Peel Dockers. Going on the crowds in the finals so far, I would say 8000. Sad

The Peel crowds during the home and away season dont exactly get "into it" during a game.

It will be a dull GF crowd wise,no atmosphere and i'm pretty sure the "neutral" supporter will stay away in huge numbers.
If you go by last seasons crowd then you would have to say this game will attract no more than 6k.

You watch the WAFC will pull a rabbit out of the hat, Grant Dorrington will be leading the chorus. They will offer free public transport, probably charter some special bus services and free entry for anyone that can show a centrelink card, sorry Subi supporters that rules you out.

Could be a crowd the likes we've never seen at a WAFL GF before, a lot of single mums with kids in tow, and a fair cross section of mullets and tattoos and Roberts rd, Subiaco will never have seen so many VS Commodores. Should make for a colourful afternoon at the footy.

Subi have the smallest traditional following in the league and are suffering GF fatigue , expect about 4000 from them if that , Peel first up GF for a club with zero supporters, I noticed a few numpty dockers fans dressed up in all their gear cheering on peel Sunday. Expect maybe 2000 from them mainly freeloaders on some sort of free ticket set up - the balance will be made up of players and officials from colts reserves friends and family plus an ad hoc collection of wafl / wafc freeloaders..neutrals are already switched off.

The Finals attendances have been very poor. Simply cannot see this improving next week.

If the weather is half decent they might just pull a half decent crowd just to see Subi lose a grand final and hear the Thunder song roar.
