I know this is an Am's post but it has a significant WAFL flavor. Trinity A's coached by WP & WCE player Quentin Lynch and Scarboro Coached by Subi legend Aiden "Shuffles" Parker with a brace of aging ex subi premiership players.

Scarb's were B grade runners up last year, got the promotion and have made the A grade GF after a 6 goal comeback in the last qtr to win the prelim by a point. Just heard that 720 will be covering the game tomorrow which will be played up at Basso. Would be worth the trip up to basso to have a look.

Go Scarb's!!!

Should be a cracker game.

Good to see ABC getting behind the A Grade GF. Well done to the WAAFL for getting more exposure for the 3rd teir football competition.

Red, its well below WAFL reserves level, so its 4th tier.

Still smacks of something inhouse if the abc is broadcasting community level football.

Am expecting them to do the Ongerup G/F next year!

Well above most WAFL reserves level. You'll find that most players who can't get a game in WAFL reserves won't get a game in WAAFL league sides.

A lot more community interest in amateur football, makes sense to telecast the gf.

Trinity won their first ever Am's A grade flag by 12 points over Scarborough, 7.14 to 6.8. Congrats to TA and their coach the big Q.

Great decision by ABC to broadcast the game. I know a lot of players at my ammo club that would have listened to it. I went along to the game and was impressed with the size of the crowd. Not sure how yesterday's crowd compared to previous gf's but I would imagine the WAAFL would have been pleased.
