Come off it Freezin, comparing recruits to AFL aligned players? Not apples for apples mate and you know that. Good luck to Peel they are a hopeless case without the alignment and without they were actively recruiting like every other club. But there needs to be a degree of fairness if this alignment model is to work.

Too true DD......though just saying Peels better players are non locals, no different to Perth's best players......anyway come end of the day the alignment quota definitely needs sorting......the situation at hand always had the potential to happen, I guess no one expected Freo's fall from grace to happen so quick......a 5 game qualifying quota is ridiculously short......double it to 10 at least and Peel wouldnt have got past WP in the 1st semi....
