Qualifying Final at Fremantle Oval on Saturday
Elimination Final at Mandurah on Sunday

Times still to be confirmed as concrete

From memory 9.55 am Colts and 3.10 pm League - sorry can't remember the ressies time.

Sheesh another Colts final for us in Mandurah when we are not even playing Peel :S and on Fathers Day

Would this be the least interesting finals series in WAFL history? 3 of the usual suspects we've seen dominating finals in the past 15 years plus WART and FART. $$$$$UBIACO the team to beat again and possibly FART their biggest threat.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

re: Would this be the least interesting finals series in WAFL history?

You'd be pretty close to the mark DD. I haven't heard anybody talking about the Wafl Finals within my locality. Most of the interest will be on the Fremantle Oval match this week. Although crowds have been well down at all venues this season, Fremantle Oval is averaging approx. 1900/ match. The second best figure of the Wafl gatherings after the Arena.

I will be surprised if West Perth get close to South - two horse race for mine, Subi & South way ahead of the pack

Of interest to the supporters of "East Perth" that West Coast Eagles are likely to be scheduled to play on Thursday evening following. One would have to think that that decision would mean that some players will not be available for the Sunday wAFL final.

42 as sour a taste as it is that WART are in the finals, they did qualify 2 teams, their league and colts, their league have to play at centrelink stadium due to FART finishing above them so makes sense that their off field staff and volunteers all head down there to the one venue, would be a bit rich to ask them or anyone else for that matter in their situation to do the colts at basso and the league at mandurah. The really strange one is that EF v Subi in the ressies is being played down at Crabtown when neither club have another team playing. EF have lost their rightfull home game and those that wanted to go have a look have the cut lunch and water bag trip.

What do you not get about this. The league fixture determines the Venue under WAFL guidelines and under these guidelines (On 95%+ times) League, Reserves & Colts are played at the same venue so "football followers" have the option on the entry fee they pay of going and watching 3 games at the one venue on one day.

Big chance the loser of the SF v WP game could go out in straight sets.....the loser has a tough gig v EP or Peel......both know doubt will be packed to the rafters with AFL boys....especially the latter.....huge game this SF v WP one....good luck to both.....

Very disappointing of our so called local media. Have been listening to the radio all week and there's been no mention (not once) of the Footy Finals this weekend. Then driving home from work this evening and one of the radio announcers was saying he didn't know what to do on the weekend because "there was no footy on".

What sought of statement is that for those people to make? Are these numpties just simply silly? Or arrogant? Have heard no mention of the Finals on television either! The 'so called' commissions advertising budget certainly hasn't been used this week.

Agree. This was a perfect opportunity to promote the WAFL as an alternative for footy followers but we have been underwhelmed with any promotion.
