that's a very good question grassman....I think the collective bargaining agreement with the AFL players association will mean all players of clubs which finish in the top 8 will have a weekend off when our first week of the finals starts...so I would THINK the eagles aligned players won't be available but the dockers will...not sure.

I'm pretty sure it is not a compulsory week off grassy, it is up to the clubs what they want to do I would think. East Perth will have access to whatever eagles players are available for selection.

Grassy to be perfectly honest I couldn't care less. What will happen is that Subiaco will make the GF and possibly the Fremantle reserves' team could also make the GF. Then there is the possibility that few if any Freo players would be made available to play in the GF and that would be the final nail in the competition.

that scenario sounds pretty good to me with the exception of the last part 42...does Subi win the GF?
